Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Refund Policy

  1. Cancellation Policy: a. Once an exam is paid for on the GECB website, it is considered final, and no refunds will be issued. b. Cancellations are not permitted, and the candidate will not be eligible for a refund under any circumstances.
  2. Rescheduling Policy: a. Candidates have the option to reschedule their exam by choosing a later session, provided it is done within 72 hours before the originally selected exam date. b. The first rescheduling within the specified time frame is free of charge. c. To reschedule the exam, the candidate should visit their account on the GECB website and follow the instructions to select a new session. d. Additional rescheduling attempts will be subject to a $75 rescheduling fee per instance. e. An exam cannot be rescheduled more than three times. If a candidate has already rescheduled their exam three times, further rescheduling will not be permitted.
  3. Additional Exam Windows (Accredited Partners Only): a. Accredited partners of GECB may request additional exam windows beyond the regular quarterly schedule. b. Requests for additional exam windows should be submitted to GECB in advance, providing the preferred dates and justification for the request. c. GECB will review the request and communicate the availability and any additional requirements or fees associated with the requested exam window.
  4. Refund Policy: a. No refunds will be provided for any paid exams, including those that are canceled or rescheduled. b. It is the candidate’s responsibility to carefully select their desired exam date and ensure their availability before making a payment.
  5. Exam Availability: a. Exams are generally held four times a year or once every quarter. b. Candidates can choose their preferred exam date from the available options listed on the GECB website during the registration process. c. GECB reserves the right to make changes to the exam schedule, including adding or removing sessions, due to unforeseen circumstances or operational requirements.
  6. Communication and Notification: a. GECB will communicate any changes or updates to the exam schedule via email or through notifications on the candidate’s account on the GECB website. b. Candidates are responsible for regularly checking their emails and GECB website account for any updates or important information regarding their exams.

Please note that this policy applies to all candidates and their exams conducted by GECB. Only accredited partners have the option to request additional exam windows. By proceeding with the payment and registration process, the candidate acknowledges and agrees to abide by this cancellation, rescheduling, and refund policy.
